Intermap Licenses Data In France
Denver-based 3D mapping data firm Intermap said today that it has scored a $804,518 contract with France's national mapping agency, to license data from its NextMap Europe mapping program. Intermap said the deal, with the Institut Geographique National (IGN), covers portions of southeastern France and the entire island of Corsica. IGN is an existing customer of Intermap. Intermap said the French agency will use the data for environmental and emergency preparedness and response applications.
