Ping Identity Ties Into Salesforce.com
Denver-based Ping Identity, the provider of single sign-on software for enterprise web applications, said today that it has launched a number of new offerings designed to integrate with Salesforce.com. According to Ping, it has launched a new Salesforce Cloud Identity Connector, which allows businesses to manage internet-based customer accounts via Salesforce.com's portal, as an alternative to Active Directory or LDAP. The firm also said it has upgraded its PingFederate Salesforce Connector, which provides single sign-on to Salesforce's products, and will be shipping OAuth support in conjunction with Salesforce in 2011.
