TruTouch Reports $438K Grant
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based TruTouch Technologies, which says it is developing non-invasive, biometric intoxication detection systems, reports that it has received a $438,000 federal grant. The firm said the grant comes from the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) and the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) at Fort Detrick, Maryland. The firm's technology is based on using light to measure the alcohol level in a person based on scanning their finger.
