Lineagen Raises $5M
Salt Lake City-based Lineagen, a firm which develops genomic tests and services for screening and diagnosis of autism, said this morning that it has raised $5M, completing its Series A funding. The firm said the new funding brings its Series A to $10.8M. The funding came from PrarieGold Venture Partners. Lineagen's existing investors are Sanderling Ventures, vSpring Capital and Mesa Verde Venture Partners. As part of the funding, the company said Mike Jerstad of PrarieGold has joined its board of directors as part of the funding. Lineagen's primary focus is diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).
