Microchip Rolls Reference Design For Keyless Entry
Chandler, Arizona-based Microchip Technology said Wednesday that it has rolled out a new, reference design for low power, multi-band wireless remote keyless entry systems. According to Microchip, the reference design includes transmitter and receiver ICs from Semtech, and Microchip's KEELOQ code-hopping technology running on its PIC microcontrollers. The firm said the design is targeted at use in vehicles, office buildings, and homes.
