Consumer Cellular Selects Phoenix For Customer Support Center
Consumer Cellular, a provider of wireless phones and services, said Monday afternoon that it has opened up a new, customer support center in Phoenix. The firm, which is based in Portland, Oregon, said the new 39,000-square-foot building currently as 24 new employees, with plans to hire on another 80 by September of this year. The firm said it selected Phoenix due to the city's talent pool and business-friendly environment. The firm also said it plans to provide bi-lingual customer support from the location. Consumer Cellular provides cell phone service to AARP members.
