Level 3 Wins ABC
Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications said today that it has scored a win with ABC, and will be installing its Managed Video Network Services (MVNS) platform into ABC News locations in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Level 3 said the three-year contract allows ABC to gain access to its Tier 1 backbone for shipping video and data between the three news bureaus.
