New Angel Group Sets Up Shop In Utah
A California angel investment group, the Maverick Angels, announced Thursday that the firm is starting up two chapters in Utah. Maverick Angels, which has been active in Southern California, said that it is opening up two new chapters of the angel group in Provo and Salt Lake City. The group said its local efforts will be headed up by Brent Israelson, CEO of Digital Ecosystems and a former Lexis Nexis senior executive. The group did not set a date for its first meetings, but said it hopes to have an initial meeting in late April in Provo.
