Webroot Partners With AnchorFree
Boulder-based Webroot, a provider of Internet security software, said today that it has partnered with AnchorFree, a provider of virtual private network software. According to the two, the companies will partner to deliver an advertising-free version of AnchorFree's VPN software, which will include Webroot's antivirus and antispyware protection. Pricing on the new product was not disclosed. The firms also said they will offer a trial version of Webroot's Antivirus with Spy Sweeper or Webroot Internet Security Essentials to customers of AnchorFree's Hotspot Shield product.
