Semiconductor Firm To Shut Scottsdale Factory
Microsemi, a California manufacturer of mixed-signal, integrated circuits with operations in Scottsdale, Arizona, reported Wednesday that it will shut its manufacturing facility in the city by April 2011. The firm said it is making th emove to improve its cost structure, saving it $20M-$25M annually. The number of employees affected by the move was not disclosed.
