DailyBurn's FoodScanner Hits App Store
Boulder-based DailyBurn, one of the firms out of the TechStars program, told its users today that it has rolled out a new iPhone app which allows users to scan the UPC codes of foods to automatically log and journal them on the site. DailyBurn--which helps users track what they are eating to help them lose weight--said the new FoodScanner app is available for $2.99 on iTunes. The software works on all iPhones, and allows for both taking a picture of a UPC, or through a text search function. The application also shows the calories a user of the site has consumed for the day.
