Denver-based Verio, a provider of web hosting services, reported today that it has added a new web hosting offering it is calling Advanced Business Hosting. The firm said the new web hosting offering uses virtual private server technology, to provide isolated web hosting options to its customers. Verio said the new offering is an alternative to shared hosting plans, and is targeted at small and medium-sized businesses. The new plans start at $9.95 a month. Verio did not disclose which virtualization infrastructure it is using for the new hosting option.
