SynCardia Gets $10.3M
Tucson, Arizona-based SynCardia, a developer of artificial hearts to treat people with biventricular heart faliure, has raised $10.3M in a Series D funding, the firm said today. According to SynCardia, the round was led by Highway 12 Ventures. The firm said the funding will go towards the launch of two products to help artificial heart patients. Highway 12's Mark Solon joins SynCardia's board along with the funding.
