Boulder, Colorado-based miRagen Therapeutics, which is developing microRNA-based therapeutics targeted at cardiovascular and muscle disease, said this morning that it has now raised $12M in its Series A funding. According to the firm, it received $4M in an extension of its Series A, with new investors Amgen Ventures, Broadview Ventures, and The Perierls Foundation joining in funding the firm. The company has also previously raised funding from Atlas Venture and Boulder Ventures.
