Omniture Signs uLocate
Orem, Utah-based Omniture, a publisher of hosted business optimization software, revealed Wednesday that it will provide its mobile analytics solution to uLocate Communications Inc. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Headquartered in Boston, uLocate offers a mobile location-based service via its WHERE platform. According to Omniture, uLocate will deploy Omniture's SiteCatalyst and App Measurement solutions for the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices into its WHERE platform and other applications built upon the platform. Omniture added that the two companies plan to collaborate on improving the depth of analytics for mobile applications, including the relevance of location and mobile advertising.
