StillSecure Launches VPN Offering
Superior, Colorado-based StillSecure said late Monday that the firm has launched a new, SSL VPN offering. According to the firm, the new offering gives its customers the option to use both its existing IPsec support along with SSL VPN to protect corporate "road warriors." Both SSL VPN and IPsec are Internet standards which are used to secure and encrypt data. StillSecure's new offering comes from its acquisition of ProtectPoint last month. Financial terms of that buy were not disclosed, however, StillSecure said the new service is based on ProtectPoint's Managed Security Service. StillSecure is a provider of managed security services for enterprises.
