Cymphonix Signs Texas Libraries
Salt Lake City-based Cymphonix, which develops network management appliances, said Monday that the firm's products have been selected by the Corpus Christi Public Libraries. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Cymphonix, its Network Compose appliance is being used by the library to prioritize and manage network traffic. The library's network is used both by library staff and public access to research materials and the Internet; apparently, the solution as put in place because public web browsing was slowing down access for the library's staff and business operations.
