Phoenix Sees Loss As Google Closes Office
Internet search giant Google has dealt a blow to Phoenix, Arizona's efforts to become a mecca for technology firms, saying Friday that it has decided to close its Arizona office. According to Google, it will close its Arizona office on November 21, blaming that the projects that its engineers in the state have been working on "have been, and remain, highly fragmented." Google opened its office in Phoenix in 2006.
