Denver-based 3-D digital mapping firm Intermap Technologies Corp. revealed Wednesday that its Intermap Federal Services Inc. subsidiary has received a $4.27 million contract from an undisclosed (and presumably government-related) client. Specifically, Intermap said it will provide 3-D digital elevation data and ortho-rectified radar imagery for an existing international project. The data will be used for topographic map production, 3-D visualization and natural resources management. Brian Bullock, Intermap's president and chief executive officer, noted that the new contract is an extension of an $8.1 million contract the company received in May.
