41st Parameter Signs Continental
Online fraud prevention firm 41st Parameter Inc. revealed Tuesday that Houston-based Continental Airlines, the nation's fifth-largest airline, has selected 41st Parameter technology to stamp out card-not-present fraud in its online sales channels. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. The 41st Parameter said Continental will employ 41st Parameter's FraudNet service to help identify suspect Web site transactions and to prevent fraudulent account access. The 41st Parameter is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is venture backed by JAFCO American Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and Norwest Venture Partners.
