PaySimple Names Hammons Engineering VP
Denver-based PaySimple, a provider of software-as-a-service electronic payment applications for small businesses, reported Monday that it has hired Sherri Hammons as vice president of engineering. In this role, the company said, Hammons will supervise its product development and technology roadmap. PaySimple described Hammons as a 15-year software development veteran who spent the previous 12 years at Abacus, a division of Epsilon Data Management LLC. While there, PaySimple noted, she served as vice president of data and model performance and supervised Abacus' international products as the company expanded to London, Japan, Germany and France.
