Health Language Co-Founder Appointed VP
Health Language Inc., a publisher of medical vocabulary software, reported Monday that it has hired Marc Horowitz to fill the newly created position of senior vice president. The Aurora, Colo.-based company said Horowitz is no stranger—he co-founded the firm and supervised its international operations before leaving to spend three years as group business development director at iSOFT. Prior to his first stint at HLI, Horowitz co-founded Healthcare Communications Inc. He has also served as an investment-banking consultant and as Asia/Pacific regional vice president for FIFA, international soccer’s governing body. HLI said Horowitz's 25 years of relevant experience will help grow the company’s international and domestic markets.
