NewsGator Makes RSS Products Free
Denver-based NewsGator said Wednesday that the firm has made all of its client RSS reader products free, as part of an upgrade of the firm's various software products. According to NewsGator, it had upgraded its NetNewsWire, FeedDemon, Newsgator Go! For Windows Mobile, and its beta of NewsGator Inbox. NewsGator previously charged $29 for NewsGator and FeedDemon, and also charged a monthly fee, ranging from $5.95 to $19.95, for premium synchronization services. NewsGator will continue to charge for its enterprise RSS servers and related products.
