Digital media content delivery network Limelight Networks reported Monday that it has hired Philip C. Maynard as senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary. The Tempe, Ariz.-based company said Maynard, whose hiring takes effect immediately, will oversee all domestic and international legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation support and contract management. Limelight described Maynard as a 30-year business law veteran who most recently worked at FileNet Corp., where he held a similar role. He has also served as chief legal officer or general counsel for SRS Labs Inc., Wonderware Corp., the National Education Corp. and Invensys PLC’s Software Systems Division.
