Video-over-Internet software developer Helius Inc. reported Wednesday that it has completed its purchase of PointeCast Corp., a provider of rapid communication and online training software. Helius originally announced its intent to acquire PointeCast on May 16. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. However, Helius said it intends to preserve the PointeCast brand. Mike Tippets, Helius president and CEO, added that his company will debut new products as a result of the acquisition later this quarter. Helius is headquartered in Lindon, Utah.
