Visual Influence Merges With Numira
Salt Lake City, Utah-based Visual Influence, which develops rendering and image analysis software for the medical imaging and scientific data area, has merged with Numira Biosciences, based out of Irvine, California, the firms said Friday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Visual Influence will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Numira. Visual Influence is a spinoff of the University of Utah's Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute.
