Blue Water Acquires Filtration Firm
Hayden, Idaho-based Blue Water Technologies, a developer of water filtration systems based on technology transfer from the University of Idaho, said this week that it has acquired Applied Process Technology, a Conroe, Texas firm that sells filtration equipment to the municipal and industrial waste treatment marketplace. Financial terms were not disclosed. Applied Process Technology's filters are a key component of Blue Water's phosphorus removal process. Blue Water is developing technology for removing contaminants in wastewater.
