HyperSpace Cuts Staff, Swizzles Execs
Denver, Colorado-based HyperSpace Communications has cut its staff, saying today that it has reduced its headcount by 50 positions in a restructuring. The firm said that the move would better align the company's cost structure with its revenue and margin levels. HyperSpace said that Michael S. Adkins, who served as CEO of MPC Computers, and EVP Adam M. Lerner have both left the organization. Nampa, Idaho-based MPC is a subsidiary of HyperSpace, and was formerly Micron's PC unit. Adkins was SVP and GM of the Micron's PC operations before its acquisition by HyperSpace.
