Avnet Shuffles Executives
Phoenix, Arizona-based Avnet Electronics Marketing said today that it has named a new president for the EMEA operations. The electronics distributor said that it has promoted Patrick Zammit to president of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa area. Zammit succeeds Axel Hartstang, who is stepping down from his position. Hartstang will continue as an advisor to the company. Zammit has been at Avnet since 1993.
