Investcorp Buys Semiconductor Test Firm
Investcorp Technology Ventures said today that it has completed its acquisition of Gilbert, Arizona-based Kulick & Soffa Industries' semiconductor package test business. The venture buyout and venture investor has renamed the business as Antares conTech. Antares is headquartered in Gilbert, where is has an R&D center and sales and manufacturing. The firm's hardware is used for semiconductor package testing for interconnects.
