Collective Intellect Raises Series A
Superior, Colorado-based Collective Intellect has raised a Series A funding round from Appian Ventures, Techrockies.com has learned. Collective Intellect has raised the additional investment in a Series A round, bringing the company's total round size to $2.6M. As part of the funding, Phillip Dignan of Appian Ventures will join the company's board of directors. Collective Intellect said that it will be making a series of key hires over the next several months as part of the funding. Collective is developing an artificial intelligence engine and statistical language processing software to monitor new media sources like blogs and online forums.
