Limelight Extends Content Delivery Deal With Facebook
Tempe, Arizona-based Limelight Networks is reporting today that it has extended its content delivery network deal with popular social networking site the Facebook. Facebook will use Limelight's content delivery network to distribute its user content. Facebook provides a social networking directory for connecting college students, and is immensely popular with the college crowd. Limelight provides caching and delivery of Internet content for media and Internet services, including video, music, downloads, and games.
