Salt Lake City-based MediConnect Global, a developer of electronic medical health records software, said today that it has appointed Greg Parkinson as the firm's Chief Software Architect. The firm said that Parkinson comes from Ancestry.com, where he was Chief Software Architect and top engineer at the company. Parkinson has also served at the U.S. Air Force, WordPerfect, and Folio Corp. MediConnect Global CEO Amy Rees Anderson said that Parkinson will be "a significant asset" to the company.
