Denver-based online mapping site MapQuest is hoping a new tie with Major League Baseball's MLB.com will help drive more customers to its services. According to MapQuest and MLB.com, they have launched a new, online video series called "Key to the City", which will feature a comedian and tie in customized, MapQuest ballpark content.MmapQuest said the new videos feature custom content--including what to do in a city on game days, highlights of tourist attractions and local hangouts, and much more. Financial details of the partnership and effort were not announced. The two are launching the new series today in MapQuests' home city, Denver, with the Colorado Rockies.
