Digital media content delivery network Limelight Networks revealed Monday that it will help distribute the Blockbuster's debut of "JACKASS 2.5" via broadband. Specifically, video rental chain Blockbuster Inc. chose Limelight's rich-media CDN and Microsoft Silverlight to provide the technical streaming capabilities for the upcoming, two-week release of "JACKASS 2.5", a spinoff of the MTV television series. Limelight said the movie will be available for free, courtesy of Blockbuster, through the end of the month. Limelight Networks is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona.
