LANDesk Upgrades IT Management Title
Salt Lake City, Utah-based LANDesk has released a new version of the firm's IT management software, LANDesk Service Desk 7.2, the firm said earlier this week. The software, which is used to manage IT service desks, now supports Microsoft's Windows Vista applications, new common forms supports, better configuration management support, as well as integration with telephony integration. LANDesk said that the solution now includes built-in processes for ITIL service desk, incident management, change management, problem management, and other services delivered by IT departments. LANDesk is a subsidiary of Avocent.
