Denver-based Intermap, which provides digital mapping data for the geographical information systems (GIS) market, said today that it has received a $6.2M contract for its data. The firm said the sale is to provide digital elevation data and orthorectified radar from its NEXTmap database. Name of the client was not disclosed. Intermap said it will begin delivering the data in the first quarter of 2012.
