Intermap Wins $1.2M Contract In Europe
Denver-based Intermap Technologies, a provider of 3D mapping data, said today that it has won a $1.2M contract in Germany, to provide 3D digital terrain maps for the country and "significant" portions of surrounding border countries with a wireless telecom. Name of that customer was not disclosed. Intermap said the firm's data is being used to optimize the performance of that telecom's radio planning tools. The information is being used to plan the placement and height of new cell phone antennas.
