Intermap Gets Italian Win
Denver-based Intermap Technologies reports that it has sold 100,000 square kilometers of 3D, digital elevation data to the Italian government, to Italy's national mapping agency, the Istituto Geografico Militare Italiano (IGMI). Financial impact of the sale was not disclosed. Intermap said the data will be used to improve Italy's national geospatial data infrastructure.
