Denver-based Intermap said over the weekend that the firm has expanded its 3D digital elevation data and imagery to parts of Malaysia, in an expansion of its services. According to Inermap, the new coverage comes as part of a distribution program with the the Sabah Lands and Surveys Department in East Malaysia. The new digital map data covers Sabah, which is located on the Island of Borneo. The firm said the data will be used by the State of Sabah to manage environmentally sensitive areas. Intermap is a provider of digital mapping data for the GIS industry.
