Insys Therapeutics Files For IPO

Phoenix, Arizona-based Insys Therapeutics, a developer of pharmaceuticals focused on cancer supportive care, has filed for an IPO, saying Tuesday that it is looking to raise up to $55M in an IPO on the Nasdaq Global Market. The firm is looking to list as INRX. The IPO is being underwritten by Wells Fargo Securities, JMP Securities, and Oppenheimer & Co. Insys Therapeutics is majority owned by John N. Kapoor, the founder of the company. Insys Therapeutics had a net loss of $18M in 2010, and is pre-revenue.
