inContact Partners With Workforce Management Software Firm
Salt Lake City-based inContact, a developer of software-as-a-service for call centers, said today that it has partnered with Verint Systems, a provider of enterprise workforce management and other tools. inContact said that it will convert Verint's workforce management solution to its platform, for deliery via the cloud to contact centers. Financial details of the deal between the firms was not disclosed. inContact said its new software-as-a-service offering will provide automation of staffing for customer service operations, including features such as automated time-off management, shift swapping and shift bidding capabilities.
