inContact Expands In The Philippines

Salt Lake City-based inContact, which develops software-as-a-service for call centers, said yesterday that it has expanded its operations in the Philippines. The firm said that it has opened up a Manila office, to better support existing customers in the country. The firm said its products are "perfectly suited" to the service and profitability goals of business process outsourcers. The Phillipines is a major location for BPO operations; inContact said the Commission on Communications and Information Technology (CICT) has found that the Philippine market has around 446,000 call center agent seats.
