Scottsdale, Arizona-based online domain name and hosting provider GoDaddy has apparently been hit in a large scale attack, taking down sites hosted by the provider--including, apparently, the firm's own home page. Details on the attack--currently being attributed to hacking group Anonymous--have yet to be detailed, however, the outage affected thousands of sites around the web.
