Boulder-based Lijit, which provides web widgets for bloggers, has made a major upgrade to its services, saying Wednesday evening that it has given its home page a facelift, adding video thumbnails, new ad sizes, and more as part of a new release. The firm's software provides search widgets and advertising to blog sites. Among changes, the firm said it has added 728x90 leaderboards as an option in its Ad Services, and better support for video thumbnails, including embedding of videos from Viddler. Lijit is venture backed by Foundry Group, Boulder Ventures, and others.
