    BoulderBeat.com Targets Hyperlocal Social Networking

BoulderBeat.com, an online social networking web site, is targeting Boulder, Colorado with a new, hyperlocal site focused on Boulder events and people. The site--the brainchild of Brian Novak, who runs graphic design and marketing firm Elevated Media--is looking to provide connections between people, information about events, allow for sharing of videos and photos, and more for people specifically located in the city. Novak's firm provides web site design and development; he's previously worked at Spectra Logic, XOR, and Cranbook.
