The Accend Group Names Schirmer CFO The Accend Group, a provider of outsourced financial and executive services, reported Tuesday that it has hired Bob Schirmer as lead chief financial officer. Accend said Schirmer will supervise several key accounts, including Advanced Composite Solutions, Delta7, Curiously Strong Entertainment, The Downtown Philly and Snapp Conner PR. Prior to joining Accend, Schirmer provided CPA services for various Fortune 500 companies, including Arthur Andersen, Intel Corp. and CNF Transportation.
