    Hyperion Power Generation Gets Funding
    Santa Fe, New Mexico-based Hyperion Power Generation has scored a round of venture capital from Altira Group LLC, Altira said Wednesday. Altira said that Hyperion Power Generation is developing small, self-contained, transportable nuclear power reactors for providing electricity. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. According to Altira, Hyperion's technology is licensed from the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The fund was made out of Altira's Technology Fund V. Hyperion's power reactors are targeted at remote industrial communities, military installations, and other locations.
