 Wednesday, October 31, 2007 Omniture Links With eCommerce Software Provider Mercado, a Pleasanton, California-based provider of eCommerce tools, said Tuesday afternoon that it has linked its software with Omniture's web analytics tools. Mercado said that its new software, the Analytics Adaptor for Omniture Genesis, integrates metrics such as searches, clicks, items sold, conversation rate, and revenue information with its software. The data, which is gathered from Omniture's web analytics software, can be used by ecommerce companies to analyze their site activity and adjust their merchandising strategies. Mercado's software is being used by customer such as Sears, Williams-Sonoma, OfficeMax, and Overstock.com, along with other firms.
