Photo Stencil Acquired by Kachi Partners
Colorado Springs-based Photo Stencil, a manufacturer of printed circuit board assembly and inspection tools, has been acquired in a leveraged buy-out by private equity firm Kachi Partners, Kachi reported Tuesday. Details of the transaction were not disclosed, though Kachi did say its purchase was financed with debt from Denver-based Fifth Third Bank and Massachusetts-based Mirus Capital Advisors, which also advised Photo Stencil. Established in 1979, Photo Stencil is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., and has operations in Mexico and Malaysia. The company produces stencils, screens and templates for PCB manufacturing, assembly and inspection. Kachi Partners is based in Boulder, Colo.
